The challenge

G.O.A.T. needed a webshop that felt genuinely easy to use: simple to browse, quick to understand, with a cart and checkout flow that just worked - while still reading as a small, local, handmade brand rather than a generic online store bolted onto a template.

Beyond the storefront, the business needed a practical way to run itself day to day. That meant an admin panel for managing products, orders, and customers without taking on the overhead of a larger SaaS commerce platform built for businesses many times G.O.A.T.'s size - plus an order process that stayed transparent on both ends, with trackable orders and an email notification system customers could actually follow.

The solution

The frontend was built with Vue.js on top of Laravel, connected via Inertia.js so the site could ship as a full SPA-style experience without standing up a separate API layer. Server-side rendering and SEO work were prioritized early, since discovery matters as much as conversion for a small artisanal brand competing against larger sauce producers. UI/UX followed established e-commerce conventions on purpose - familiar navigation, a visible cart, a short checkout - so the storefront felt easy and trustworthy from the first visit, not just efficient.

The commerce core covers a full product catalog, cart, and a checkout flow built on Stripe for payment processing. Order management runs entirely through a dedicated admin panel, letting the G.O.A.T. team handle products, orders, and customer accounts directly, without taking on the overhead of a larger SaaS commerce platform. Every step of the post-order process is backed by automated email notifications - confirmation, processing, and fulfillment - so both the customer and the G.O.A.T. team always know where an order stands.
